I’m going on a stress diet..

What the heck is a stress diet?! I actually have no idea if this is a thing, but it’s a thing now cause I’m saying it is. Lol. Lately, I’ve been noticing that I get worked up way too quickly about things that happen in my life and I decided I need to make a change. Life is way too short and I want to live mine as healthy and long as possible! Stress can literally kill you! It takes way too big of a toll on your body.. so why not do something about it? Dieting is a huge thing right now and it seems like there’s always a new diet fad. So, I say we start a new one!  Instead of cutting out all carbs, I’m going to cut out stress! I’m sure you’re all thinking it’s impossible to cut out stress, but I’m going to try my hardest to cut down on this weight.

But, how??

1. Yoga [Yogi lifestyle]

Yoga’s main idea is to breathe, meditate, and expand your mind and body. Breathing techniques in yoga are meant to ease your mind during difficult situations. Difficult moves are like difficult times in life. So just breathe and keep pushing. The meditation part of yoga can teach you self awareness. It causes you to focus on your inner self and let go of all outside conflicts. Once you allow your mind to let go and not think about anything in particular, you can find a way to cope with negative energy.

2. Eating Healthy

No, I’m not saying dieting will help you live a stress free life. I’m saying, processed foods are a no no. Think about it.. our bodies aren’t made to break down chemically processed foods, so it has to work much harder than when we eat real, raw foods, causing stress!! Processed foods are total jerks in my opinion. They make our brains go crazy for it because they are made chemically to make us feel rewarded! It’s like a drug. My body needs to go on a detox from all the bad stuff I’ve been putting in it.

3. Spend time outdoors. 

Think about how restricting it is when you sit in a room for hours on end. No fresh air, no fresh scenery, and no natural sunlight! I’m going to try to spend a few hours a day outside when I’m studying or writing. Fresh air always opens the mind up to new things and creative thoughts. Being outside always seems to create some kind of weightlessness to me. There’s never any heaviness when I’m outside. The outside is just much less stressful in my opinion.

I’m going to try my hardest to keep up with all of this, but I get a bit too stressed out like all the time. Lol. Plus, there’s nothing wrong with indulging in fat ass cheeseburger every once in awhile. I’m not going to lie, the whole time I was writing this I was thinking about an In-n-Out cheeseburger.. But, I’ll be strong everyone!!
