Happy New Year!

Hey everyone!

I’ve been pretty MIA these past few weeks and if you don’t follow me on social media, you probably think I stopped existing. Lol. These past few weeks I really needed to take a time out from life. I’ve felt super stressed and bummed out so I decided I needed to recoup myself before I try to take this blog to the next level. This year I will accomplish my goals for this blog and I want all of you to help keep me accountable. Consistency is the key to success this year. I will write every week, no matter what. If you love what I write, let me know! It motivates me more than you all know. I slacked SO much this past year and this year I will not do anything half assed. I have so much going for me this year and I’m going to take it to my full advantage. The biggest news I have to share with you all (for now) is that I am going to London for an entire MONTH this summer to study what I love.. MAKEUP! I’m so excited and I cannot wait to take you all on this journey with me. Every year holds a crazy amount of obstacles, but that’s what makes life worth living. We wouldn’t love the great moments so much if we weren’t suffering leading up to it.

So, to start off the new year, here’s the first photo shoot collab of the year with Elkk Photography! This might just be some of my favorite pictures I have ever seen of myself. Desiree truly knew how to capture me at my best moments. If any of you ever get the chance to work with this woman, DO IT! Be sure to check her out of Facebook and Instagram @elkkphotography !

Once again making it obvious I don’t wear bras lol.

I think this outfit was a perfect AZ Desert Princess look. The colors all worked together so well and I’m so proud of myself for coming up with this look. The vest is Free People. The booties are Free People as well. The dress is from Nordstrom by Astr. The kimono is by Topshop. The bomber is by Cinq à Sept and I’m completely obsessed with it. S/O to my mom for getting it for me for my birthday! I’m not sure who the necklace is by, but I love these types of necklaces because they always add a nice edgy vibe to spice up plain outfits!  Also, anyone wondering about the hair: all I do is french braid my hair to the side and finish it in a fishtail!

Well once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I love you all. Let’s make 2017 the best year!
xx.
