Okay guys, I’m dying. Not literally, but wow life is catching up to me. I only have about 2 weeks left of this semester and school is kicking my ass. College is scary and I constantly feel like I’m about to jump off a cliff. College life is fun, but I literally feel like I’m going crazy with all the craziness I have to keep up with. The past few weeks I’ve been missing high school so much. I never would have thought I’d be the person to say that, but I am. There are so many constants during high school. You basically do the same thing everyday. See the same people everyday. And you are being constantly reminded of when things are due in classes. College professors are some sneaky bastards they won’t say anything to you until after something is due. In college, you like to think you have all sorts of time on your hands, but then you suddenly realize, “omg I have a test tomorrow, omg when did my laundry basket get that full, omg when was the last time someone cleaned the bathroom, omg how long have those French Fries been on the floor, omg wait I have an assignment due at midnight?!” THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS NO ONE TELLS YOU IS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU GET TO COLLEGE. Your life literally turns into a tornado, but you somehow gotta pretend everything is chill. Thanksgiving break was perfect, but it made coming back to campus so much harder. Whenever I’m here at campus, I feel like I am constantly checking my schedule and freaking out, but back at home I have nothing to worry about.
Dear high school friends,
Enjoy every moment you have left in those halls. Appreciate that your teachers acknowledge you and actually realize you are a human being. Hold on to those memories of hanging out with your best friends close to you and make as many more memories as you can before you cross that stage to get your diploma. Don’t try to get through high school faster than you need to, absorb every minute you have left of it. So many of you are so excited to get to where I am, but don’t let what you have now pass you by. I promise it will go by faster than you can imagine and one day you’ll be like me, wishing you could just go back for even a day.
I don’t wear bras! Or at least I rarely wear bras… I’ve noticed that towards the end of my high school career and now being out of high school the amount of times I wear a bra is far lower than the amount of times I go out without one. I think once I got over all the fun of getting boobs from puberty and always wanting to be a cup size bigger than my friends I realized bras suck. I remember being a little girl and thinking about how cool I’d be once I got to wear bras. I wish I could go back to my little self and say how stupid and uncomfortable bras are. They are definitely not something to look forward to. Now that I have ditched bras I feel like I actually accept and love my chest so much more! Believe me I do know there are times to wear bras like when I go to dance or if I’m wearing a shirt that just doesn’t look right without one. By now I think my roommates have finally realized that I will probably never wear a bra to the dining hall. I’m not saying the #freethetitties lifestyle is for everyone, but it is for me! And if you want to try it, do it! It’s become such an acceptable thing in today’s society and it’s actually pretty trendy right now with all of the beautiful bralettes on the market! I know you’re all thinking bralettes are only for small chested women and I agree to an extent as well because I can’t buy any bralettes from Urban Outfitters that actually fit my band size (small) and cup size(C sometimes D), but I do know there are a lot of others that do fit me from other brands (Calvin Klein, Victoria Secret, Nordstrom, etc.)! Explore your options and find a brand that works best for you and your chest! I think the biggest thing that goes with going bra-less is having the confidence to do it. I used to be really self conscious about how I looked doing it, but now it’s become a normal thing for me. I also encourage you all to do some research about the benefits of going bra-less! Fun-fact: your titties are not going to become 90 year old sag tits just because you’re going bra-less, it’s actually been seen to make them more perky! It actually makes you grow more chest muscles!!
Wearing a bra or not wearing a bra is definitely a personal decision! It’s your #boobies so do what YOU want with them!!
(That’s too fun to not write I’m sorry lol)

Hello everyone! I just want to share with you all some awesome shots photographer, Joseph Pabalinas, got of me a few days ago. (Keep reading for details)
The outfit I wore is perfect for a breezy fall day here in AZ. The shoes I wore are Jeffery Campbell and they are perfect for a day of walking around. They never get uncomfortable. The rest of the out fit is from Topshop in Nordstrom. The leotard is a burnt orange/pinkish velvet that I adore. The color is such a fall color that I couldn’t resist. These black Topshop jeans I swear by and wear them like 5 out of the 7 days of the week. They fit so well and are the perfect length. And of course I had to top off this entire outfit with a Topshop jacket. I loved the way the blue jean from the jacket contrasted with my leotard. It really made it pop. As for accessories I really didn’t wear anything besides my Quay Australia sunnies. I didn’t wear anything extra because I didn’t want them to take away from the outfit in the shots, but if I wear this outfit again I would probably add in a skinny black choker.
I’m sure you are all wondering how my awkward self was even able to pose in front of a camera for more than an hour. Well, surprisingly, I didn’t feel awkward at all and a lot of that comes from the person taking the pictures. One thing I really learned on this shoot is that modeling takes a lot of confidence. The best shots are always the ones that look most comfortable and natural! I can’t wait to start doing more shoots and learn more about this whole modeling thing.
Oh and here’s one more amazing picture Joseph got of me… I swear I’m not naked!!!
A few days ago I posted on my instastory about wanting to get in contact with some photographers so I can start having better quality pictures on here! Also, I’ve always fantasized about modeling. Anyways.. My friend Demi, ended up contacting me and I told her about my modeling dreams and she gave me a bunch of AZ photographer’s insta accounts that she has done shoots with. Luckily, Demi also wants to explore photography. So, last night we went to Mill Ave. and Zia Record Exchange and she took some cute pictures of me! The whole time, Demi was convinced the pictures would come out bad, but really she managed to get quite a few good ones. I definitely need a little more practice in front of the camera, but it was actually a lot of fun and I can’t wait to do it again.
Also, this weekend my sorority had our Big/Little reveal. My family is so cute. Demi is actually in my fam too! I’m not really sure how to explain a big, but basically it’s a person in the sorority that is supposed to be your friend and help you out. I’m really happy I got my big :).
It’s been quite the past two weeks filled with exams, papers, homecoming, and sorority stuff, but I’ve loved it all. Being busy is always way more entertaining than doing nothing!
What the heck is a stress diet?! I actually have no idea if this is a thing, but it’s a thing now cause I’m saying it is. Lol. Lately, I’ve been noticing that I get worked up way too quickly about things that happen in my life and I decided I need to make a change. Life is way too short and I want to live mine as healthy and long as possible! Stress can literally kill you! It takes way too big of a toll on your body.. so why not do something about it? Dieting is a huge thing right now and it seems like there’s always a new diet fad. So, I say we start a new one! Instead of cutting out all carbs, I’m going to cut out stress! I’m sure you’re all thinking it’s impossible to cut out stress, but I’m going to try my hardest to cut down on this weight.
1. Yoga [Yogi lifestyle]
Yoga’s main idea is to breathe, meditate, and expand your mind and body. Breathing techniques in yoga are meant to ease your mind during difficult situations. Difficult moves are like difficult times in life. So just breathe and keep pushing. The meditation part of yoga can teach you self awareness. It causes you to focus on your inner self and let go of all outside conflicts. Once you allow your mind to let go and not think about anything in particular, you can find a way to cope with negative energy.
2. Eating Healthy
No, I’m not saying dieting will help you live a stress free life. I’m saying, processed foods are a no no. Think about it.. our bodies aren’t made to break down chemically processed foods, so it has to work much harder than when we eat real, raw foods, causing stress!! Processed foods are total jerks in my opinion. They make our brains go crazy for it because they are made chemically to make us feel rewarded! It’s like a drug. My body needs to go on a detox from all the bad stuff I’ve been putting in it.
3. Spend time outdoors.
Think about how restricting it is when you sit in a room for hours on end. No fresh air, no fresh scenery, and no natural sunlight! I’m going to try to spend a few hours a day outside when I’m studying or writing. Fresh air always opens the mind up to new things and creative thoughts. Being outside always seems to create some kind of weightlessness to me. There’s never any heaviness when I’m outside. The outside is just much less stressful in my opinion.
I’m going to try my hardest to keep up with all of this, but I get a bit too stressed out like all the time. Lol. Plus, there’s nothing wrong with indulging in fat ass cheeseburger every once in awhile. I’m not going to lie, the whole time I was writing this I was thinking about an In-n-Out cheeseburger.. But, I’ll be strong everyone!!
This may just very well be the lamest story any person has ever heard..
Throughout my life, I have been given many nicknames. People used to try to call me (E)M’n'(E)M (or Eminem), which I hated because any time someone would get me candy, they would get me M&M’s. I HATE M&M’s. Luckily, I rarely get called that anymore and there was no way I was going to let that be my blog name. Then, there’s the great nickname my mom has always loved calling me: Kitty. I hate that I actually respond to her when she says Kitty because sometimes she’s literally talking to our cat. There was no way in hell my blog name was going to be Kitty. Picture yourself typing kitty.com…. Does that not make you feel like you’re about to enter a porno website?? Well it does to me. So, what was I left with? My name. Just simply Emily. Well that’s boring. How did I spice up my name? I went to the internet and searched adjectives that rhyme with Emily. Creative..I know. It took me about five minutes to find the word acceptably. It flowed sooo well and I was like yay! I found a word that would make me seem cool! Lol! At the time, I didn’t even realize how much the word worked for me. Starting this blog meant I was going to be branding my life. I am a very accepting person and that’s something I take pride in. I want this blog to be known for my stupid stories and my fashion and life advice. This is an accepting place for accepting people! I am acceptablyemily. I hope you all love this blog as much as I do. Love you all!
Last night, I finally decided I needed to do something for my blog. So, I put together a cute fall outfit that would be perfect for a chill-boho-chic chick. For me, Fall means flannels and booties. So, I tied together the two with some ripped boyfriend jeans and a black crop top. I also threw in the necklace to give the look a more edgy vibe. All together, I think this outfit is perfect for Fall.
Over the past few weeks, I have been adjusting to ASU. So far, it has been great and the weather is FINALLY starting to cool down. Besides that, I am so done with bikers and skateboarders. On campus, I am a million times more likely to get hit by a biker or a skateboarder than an actual car. People are total jerks when they’re in a hurry to get to class. Speaking of class, I still sit alone for the most part because I some how don’t know anyone out of the 300 students in my lectures. In my math class, I got unusually excited when the gay kid in our class sat next to me. I think I was trying too hard to spark conversation because he didn’t even say bye to me when class ended. I know, I’m so embarrassing. I don’t even try very hard to make friends with the girls in my classes because they already don’t even acknowledge me. The other day, I was surrounded by girls and they were all asking each other which sorority they were in and none of them even cared to ask me. I must apparently not look like a sorority girl, but guess what?! I am one. I recently took a bid from Sigma Kappa. Luckily, none of the girls I’ve met so far in my sorority are as unwelcoming as those girls in my classes. I actually chose Sigma Kappa because they seemed the most real and they were definitely the most diverse, in my eyes.
I’m sure as the year goes on I will have some more embarrassing stories about me trying to make friends to tell you all. Until then, I hope you all are fashionably inspired by my outfit and maybe got a giggle out of my embarrassing life. Lol.
Hello everyone! I have been so busy lately that I haven’t had a chance to write. This month, I moved into my dorm at Arizona State University. My room is so cute and I have already made a few new friends. My roommate and suite-mates are awesome and they make living here so easy.
College dorm room shopping is insane and I don’t even understand how other bloggers keep track of all the stuff they bought. All I can tell you is most of my stuff is from Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target. These two stores have everything a person would ever need in a dorm room. I do remember where I got my tapestry and that is from Society 6 which I found via Pinterest! I used Pinterest so much to direct me on the right path of dorm room decorating.
So far on my college journey, I’ve really only learned where to eat, where my classes are, and where to workout. Since I live in the dorm here, I was required to sign up for a meal plan. I signed up for the one where I get 2 meals a day. I now realize that I should’ve just signed up for one a day because I am far too lazy to walk to the dining hall (it’s less than 5 minutes away) more than one time a day. All my classes are at least 10 minutes or more of walking from my dorm. That doesn’t sound bad, but must I remind you, I LIVE IN ARIZONA. More than 5 minutes outside here is hell. And what sucks more is that all of my classrooms/lecture halls stay at a solid 80 degrees. After walking in Arizona’s 100 degree weather, I expect to walk into buildings with freezing A/C temperatures, but no they decide to torture me further with boob sweat and smelly classmates. Besides all of that, I actually love most of my classes. My professors are amazing. I’m sure once Winter comes around I will enjoy my time here at ASU more. Since I’ve been here for about 2 weeks, I’ve only been to the gym once… yesterday. It’s a really nice (HUGE) gym, but people are jerks and leave 45 pound weights on all of the equipment. I know I can take those weights off myself, but I shouldn’t have to and it slows my workout down. I think I have been spoiled with the gym I go to when I’m at home. Mostly everyone at that gym has good “gym etiquette.” After getting frustrated with the weight room, I found an open studio to finish my workout in.
Besides all of the negative things I’ve found while being here, I’ve also realized I go to a really awesome school. I’m sure as the year goes on and the temperatures drop I will truly love everything ASU has to provide.
Last night, my amazing boyfriend took me out to dinner and I decided to take on a simple look for the evening. My entire outfit is from Topshop! Including the necklace. I’m not sure what brand the ring is, but I know it’s from Nordstrom!
Did anyone notice anything different about me??(; I got bangs!! I decided I wanted to spice up my hair and bangs were the decision. I definitely have to get used to them, but let me know what you think!
Nordstrom’s normal pre-sale for their anniversary starts tomorrow… But luckily my mom has made her ranks in Nordstrom over the years so we got early access to the pre-sale. After spending 6 1/2 hours in one store with a small break to get lunch at Neiman Marcus, it takes a toll on your body. Right now my back and feet are aching, but it was all worth it. The sale was great!
At first we weren’t seeing all that great of stuff. The bags and shoes were probably the most “not so amazing” part of the sale. In my opinion, they could’ve done better! Once we got to the jewelry section, the sale adrenaline started kicking in. They have some really great deals in the jewelry area, but I didn’t see anything I was in need of. I also saw a few nice packages in the makeup section, but I once again left the area with nothing in my bag. Finally, we got to my favorite part… Clothes. There was so many awesome things on sale in all of the clothing tents! Honestly, I think the deals were really great. I get excited now just thinking about all the amazing clothes I got. Thankfully, my mom and I had Tara Aaron (a person stylist at Scottsdale Nordstrom) to guide us to the best of the sale! I came home with some really really cute outfits. A lot of it is Fall clothing, but I love it all so much I’m probably going wear it all before Fall even starts. And let’s be real.. Fall doesn’t even exist in Arizona! Speaking of “Fall,” I start school in the Fall and that’s why going into the home section of the sale was one of the most exciting parts of my day. I ended up getting a duvet, a pillow, and a throw! Buying all of this stuff for college is making me so ready for it to begin! I’ll be sure to make my dorm room tour Pinterest worthy! Lol. Until then, enjoy some sneak-peak pictures of my favorite items I got at the sale.
